This project consisted of the analysis and design of the distribution network, third-party warehouse outsourcing analysis, and transportation consolidation modeling.

• Coordinated the work of the alliance partners on the project (J.B. Hunt, ShipXact, and Shippers Commonwealth).
• Developed a final business case which projected a $200,000 transportation savings for the client.

• Financial Performance Measurement – assisted Activity Based Costing assessment that will help the client earn two million Dollars a year by pricing its products correctly.
• IT Assessment – analyzed the organization’s IT investment and suggested several productivity improvements.
• IT Conversion – converted a client’s fixed asset recording process from manual spreadsheets to FAS 90 which allowed them to find considerable depreciation savings by performing automated “what-if” analysis.

Texas Utilities (TXU) - Web Portal Programmer

Participated on a team that developed and deployed a web-based “portal” application where content is derived from various sources including weather, stock and commodity markets, message boards, and existing TXU web applications.

• Negotiated contract with third-party vendor Energy Interactive to incorporate their energy profiling application.
• Successfully developed module that integrates Energy Interactive’s energy profiling web application into the portal using the following technologies: Java, Java Script, JSP, XML, XSL, and Epicentric APIs.
• Managed java developer assisting in the development of Energy Interactive module.

Texas Utilities (TXU) - EBPP Functional Designer

Led the effort to determine which Electronic Billing Payment and Presentment model best supports TXU’s marketing strategy.
